John's Story
It's been 15 years for me since I've graced the halls of CHS with my presence. As I've hit my early 30's I've gotten a bit homesick for my beloved Catonsville High, the way it was when we were young. We were gods...all-knowing, compassionate and unjaded. This was before we struck out into the world, when ignorance, illness and evil had no foothold on us. While none of these has actually touched us directly (hopefully), we've witnessed them firsthand and been forever changed by them. I know that we have all moved on, some for the better and some not. We have lost some good friends on the path and gained experience. For us to be on here we're at a point where we've become retrospective and nostalgic for what once was. Hopefully we also realize that while we're looking back at this moment we have much more time to keep going forward.
Make the most of it. Reach back to when you were innocent and wide eyed with wonder and yearning. Make this your second chance to make a difference in your own lives before they draw closer to the twilight.
