Kevin's Story
Life is what happens in the process of making other plans.
Married since '82. Currently teaching in western Alaska in a Yup'ik Eskimo village since 2000. Spending summers in the tropics of the Kenai Peninsula, where they have roads and, yes, damn, it, Walmart. We're spending less and less time in Austin where we lived for...Expand for more
20 years but still have lots of connections, including a home we've hardly lived in, our daughter, my brother, mom, wife's family and many friends.
Why am I thinking about Hyde Park and the Hudson river valley? Probably to validate my decision to leave as soon as I could. It's nice place but it's a good place...to be FROM.
