Kevin's Story
November 11th 2013: The Reunion was a lot of fun! Wish more could have been there but things happen, I understand. Had a lot of fun and it was great seeing faces from so long ago. Since I'm now a photographer I was able to get a lot of great shots. It truly was a fun photo shoot. The photos are located on my web site and are for sale if you like. Unfortunately I can't list that site here. If you email me I'll be glad to furnish you with the site. Love to hear from anyone from the old days. Perhaps we can get together and talk of the old days and see where life has taken us.
November 17th 2013: Nothing important to add. Just staying updated.
December 8th 2013: How was everyone's Thanksgiving? Hope it was a safe one.
December 28th 2013: Hard to believe, another Christmas has gone by.
February 16th 2014. Gettin' closer to Spring! I'm sure more than a few of us are looking forward to that with great anticipation, yes?
March 5th 2014. C'mon Spring, get here! That's it.
March 14th 2014 Two years ago my brother died.
May 11th 2014 Can it be that the weather is gonna finally get warm for a steady amount of time? Hoping so. Time to get out and enjoy the outdoors. My favorite photography season is upon us. Talk soon people.
August 17th 2014. Been a few months since the last entry. Summer is waning. As much as I hate to say that. It went too fast as always. It was a busy photography season this summer. Fun though. Little bit of Summer left. Time to get out in it.
September 19th 2014 Well, can't believe Summer is over. The long Winter will be here all too soon, yes?
November 14th 2014 It's a little over year since the Reunion and the time continues to go by too fast.
January 8th 2015 Hard to believe we're in yet another year. The holidays have come and gone again. far too fast of course, like the rest of life. We look forward to Spring.
February 2nd 2015 Hey! How 'bout that Superbowl game! I'm glad Seattle lost since they beat Green Bay a few weeks earlier.
March 14th 2015 Three years to the day since my brother died, buried in Saratoga National Cemetery.
April 27th 2015 Still a little on the cool side weather wise. I hear Spring will be here soon. LOL!
May 14th 2015 Americade is but a short time away! Weather is great and looking forward to the great weather and people that will be there!
June 24th 2015 Hey hey, Summer's here! What else can I say. Look for more photography here in the next few days. God Bless, be safe and have fun!
August 16th 2015 Don't know 'bout anyone else but Summer has gone way too fast. Always the case though.
I'm really not looking forward to Winter.

January 10th 2016 Another Christmas and holiday season behind us already. We look forward to Spring now. The Winter can be a long wait for the warm weather.

March 24th 2016 Spring is here but a little chilly this morning with a coating of snow on the ground.

The worst of Winter is over and we look forward to Summer!

Sept. 17th 2016 Trying to get some new photos here but for some reason it's working. Frustrating.
Oct. 9th 2016 Hey hows this for very different news! I'll be having open heart surgery on Jan. 17th of 2017. Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy along with numerous bouts of whats called Supraventricular Tachycardia (VERY rapid heart beat) is the condition that I have. I've had it for quite a long time but it's getting worse. I'll also be having an ICD (Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator) put in my chest on Oct. 12 2016. Some interesting times ahead but I'm looking forward to feeling better. Love to walk up small hills and stairs again without being short of breath and my chest not hurting! I'll be adding comments here often as to the progress. I might even do a video type of diary. Take care for now and have a great day!
Oct. 26th The day has arrived for the stitches from the ICD implant to be removed. Another step closer to recovery. Looking forward to January's surgery. The surgery I'll be having is called "Septal Myectomy". It will greatly improve quality of life!
Nov 8th One day before election. Most assuredly one of THEE most important elections this country has seen in very many years!

Jan, 29th 2017 The open heart surgery has happened and so far without any problems. Just need some time to heal now. Too early to really tell too much since there's still pain. Physical recovery as well as mental recovery will take a few months. Won't need months for the mental recovery since the surgery will be improving the physical aspect quickly. I thank all the well wishes and prayers (to Jesus) that have been offered for my recovery!
Feb 24th 2017 Yes yes we're still recovering from the open heart surgery. Naturally I wish I'd heal quicker. Not outa the woods yet as I'm going to need an additional surgery in March or April to correct the "Supra Ventricular Tachycardia". This is a type of very rapid heart rate that occurs at any time and it's a pain in the neck! At least we're getting closer to Spring! Take care for now.

June 17th 2017 So nice to be back into the warm weather! The lakes are warming up and looking better for a swim. Feel free to write!

Sept 18th Where does the time go, Summers gone and moving into the next season. Way too early to be seeing Halloween garbage in stores!

May 6th '18 Been six months since my last update. Too much time has passed. Then again life goes too fast. How's everyone been?
Sept. 2 2018 The Summer is over already. A mixed blessing I guess with all the heat and humidity we had this year. The way time goes by so fast we'll be back to Spring before you know it. We look forward to Fall.
April 7th 2019 It's 3AM and I couldn't sleep. Long time since I added anything. As usual life is going by at a fast pace. Winter has come and gone and back into Spring. Could stand to be a little warmer outside. How has everyone been. Just read about a death of a former student from our class of '78. That's always sad reading. At any rate if anyone would like to say hello, feel free. Have a great day!

Jan 2nd 2020 My first note here for the new decade. Christmas and New Year were great! Time to start looking forward to warmer weather again.
May 16th Saratoga track opens with NO spectators! That's just great, won't kill business too quick will it! Politicians won't be happy til we're ALL out of work!

10/17/21 Always amazing how quickly time goes by. The years have gone by in a flash. Being retired now I look back, sometimes, when I first started work in high school. My first job was a dishwasher at "The Dolphin" restaurant on State St, in Schenectady. Of course it's long since gone out of business. That's another aspect of life that continues to baffle me. We couldn't wait to work when we were in high school, make our own money! Now so many people would rather sit on their ass, catch the next Netflix movie, and collect from the government because of this covid nonsense! What a frickin' world! At any rate, hope all who have bothered to read here, I wish you all the best and Godspeed. May Jesus keep you under his protection!

12/11/22 Wow! Only two weeks away from another Christmas! Hard to believe it's been nine years since I started adding info here.
1/24/23 Looks like this will be my final year here. Another price increase on this "Classmates" They say "We strive to provide our members the best experience possible which means we must occasionally review our subscription prices." Then a price increase statement follows. Just say the price is being increased without the nonsense of "Best experience"!
