My Pets
They're really the kids' pets.
Jackson is a Chihuaha/terrier mix that was a gift to my son Wyatt.
August and Blue are Siamese cats that Hannah has assumed motherhood for.
Duke and King are a pair of fighting fish given to my wife Polly by the kids for Christmas.
My Kids
Wyatt just turned 13 and has become a Teenager. He's involved in Boy Scouts and now that he's in middle school, is in the marching band at South Hunterdon Regional, which is small enough that it needs to take middle schoolers. past year and has shown a real talent for music. He's fairly athletic but has no immediate interest in organized sports.
Hannah just turned 11, and is nearly a straight-A student with a real talent for writing and language. She's also a competitive jazz/tap/ballet dancer, and is starting to specialize in tap. Our summer vacations lately are planned around her competitions at Notre Dame and Myrtle Beach. She's also much taller than everyone in her class (about 5'2").
Words can't convey the pride we have in our kids.
My Job
I'm the VP-operations for a small business operating a commercial archives. It's a hands-on position that sometimes takes long hours. There's limited opportunity because it's a family business.
