Kevin's Story
From 1974 through 1977 I attended several Universities for Pharacological studies (Purdue, Northeastern the most note worthy). Organic Chemistry was my downfall and I ended up forced to leave due to financial reasons. I started working for the family business in New Bedford Mass and even entered the US Coast Guard in 1980. In 1984 I moved to Fort Wayne Indiana to open a plant that manufactured automotive exhaust parts and met my wife Linda while doing so. Our daughter was born in 1985 and we moved back to New England to continue the family business. I left the US Coast Guard in 1986 which was the same year my father moved the business to Georgia and my family and I decided to remain in New England. I worked as an Engineering Technician from 1986 to 1996 at Alberox Corporation. I worked on my own as a computer consultant until I was hired on at the Stanley Bostitch Corp in East Greenwich RI as a Manufacturing Engine...Expand for more
er. I worked with another consultant after Stanley Bostitch helping companies achieve ISO certification which led to my position as a Quality Engineer at Richards Microtool in Plymouth Mass. After 5 years I was promoted to Quality Manager and was sucessful attaining ISO certification for them and then transitioing them into the Medical standard ISO 13485. After 9 years with Richards I accepted a position with the Interplex Corporation division Etch Logic and was successful in achieving the Automotive standard TS16949 and continue to support the company to this day.
I owned several motorcycles including a Kawasaki VN2000 but have since recently stopped riding. I enjoy computer gaming and woodworking and have converted my two car garage into a woodworking workshop. Some of my work can be seen on Facebook and would enjoy connecting with many of the alumni from 1974. Look me up on Facebook and send me a friend invite.
