Camille's Story
It doesn't seem like 37 years have gone by, since I had my first daughter. Having three kids and raising them by myself, seems unbelievable. They are the most amazing kids. They are the most wonderful things in my life. They are all quite successful. They all have children of their own. They do the most amazing things for me. They send Jon and I to Florida for three winter months, every year. They bought me a new car for Mothers Day. They completely remodeled my kitchen as a Catering Kitchen, so I can run my business from home. They still vacation with Jon and I every year. We have been all over the world. They have given me eight beautiful grandchildren and Heather my oldest, is expecting, so I should have a new grand baby in December. I am now working for KASHI, doing Catering Events all over the United States. It is great, because I only work in the summer months. the different States. I was not able to give my children all the fancy things in life, but I could give them all the love in the world. The struggles that we endured, only made us a much stronger family. It is with great sadness, that they lost their Father last year. David was a great person, but he never new what it meant to be a Father. He was my worse enemy for years, but before the end, we had made our peace. He knew what he had missed. His kids loved him to the very end.
I just wish that everyone who reads this, will come away with something. Your kids should never be taken for granted. They did not ask to be put on this earth. Love them for who they are, not what you want them to be. Love them, like they may not be here tomorrow. Always, Always, put them first. Your housework can wait, you job can wait, chores can wait. Your kids will grow up and they don't need fancy shoes or clothes. Just give them love.
