occupation: recently returned to NEW LINE CINEMA as SR VP of ACQUISITIONS AND PROGRAMMING after completing a 6-year stint working for bob and harvey Weinstein as Executive VP of MIRAMAX FILMS, Hollywood, California. Some of the films MIRAMAX produced were the SPYKIDS franchise, SCARY MOVIE, THE OTHERS, The SCREAM franchise, GOODWILL HUNTING, KILL BILL, COLD MOUNTAIN, The HALLOWEEN franchise, SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE, CIDER HOUSE RULES, BAD SANTA, REINDEER GAMES, HIGHLANDER, the AIR BUD franchise and PULP FICTION. MA produced the spectacular LORD OF THE RINGS franchise. Other film successes include THE WEDDING CRASHERS, THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT FRANCHISE, ELF, THE MASK, SEVEN, FINAL DESTINATION,DUMB AND DUMBER, FREDDY VS. JASON, THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE and SNAKES ON A PLANE. NEW LINE is a great company and they created my new position especially for me. I moved to California in 1991 and enjoy the sunshine very much although I could do without the earthquakes,firestorms and floods! The movie industry is pretty crazy but it's alot of fun!
