Kevin's Story

College I went to work for the Yuba County Sheriffs Dept. During that time I promoted to Sgt and was the Jail supervisor for the last 5 years of my career. I supervised 18 officers and 300 inmates. Not what most would consider the best job but it was challenging and never the same. Was made the officer of the year in 1981. Over all not a bad thing to do. ...Expand for more
Workplace Again this form does not allow for the answer that best describes what I do. I work behind a desk not a counter and am responsible for the security of a state office building. Military I also served in Iceland and in the US at Otis AFB and Beale AFB. Left the military due to the racial tensions at the time and could not see it ending anytime soon.

Another sunset in Northern California. If you look real close you can see black birds in the trees. Hundreds of them come home every night.
