Kevin's Story
Life
The day before yesterday I got married and had three kids. Then yesterday they all grew up and graduated and dispersed themselves all over the world.
All that and more happened while I was out chasing drug dealers. That was so fast.
I was working street crimes and narcotics for about ten years for EPD. Then they said something that made me mad so I went back to patrol.
They said, "You have to go back to patrol."
Not long after going to patrol I promoted to sergeant. Now I supervise a patrol team...Expand for more
, and the Defensive Tactics Instructor Team, and I help with the Bicycle Crowd Control Team.
I might retire in two years, because I can, but I expect I'll still be enjoying the job. Of course, retiring would mean I'd have more time to scuba dive, hunt, fish, travel and brew beer.
The gorgeous woman I married has gotten more beautiful over the past 23 years. I think I have a very rosy outlook on life, mainly because I happen to be married to a beautiful and magnificent woman. I would recommend it for anybody.
