Geez, only 4000 characters and where do I start? Hmm, biggest crush? Had to be Robin Belluomoni in 7th and 8th grades. What teacher inspired me the most? Had to be Mr. Simoulis in 7th,8th and 9th grades. Teacher I couldn't stand the most? Had to be Conlon in HS English. That guy was the biggest favoritist around. If he liked you, you did well. If he didn't, you were bound for anything but an "A".
Well, after graduating HS I went to college in Bradford, Massachusetts. Kind of a long ways away but once considering the student-teacher ratio, small school atmosphere and accredited teachers vs a large university environment I don't know who wouldn't have gone there. At first intended to do the entire 4 yrs. Yup, wide-eyed and out to save the world. Headstrong to become a lawyer.

me. I finished my A.A. there in 3 semesters and transferred to Pitzer College in Claremont, CA. It's one of the Claremont Colleges. Kind of like what a university is supposed to be: a conglomeration of different schools.
It was bigger and had a great variety of different schools of thought. It was very challenging too. The teaching didn't end in the classroom. That's just where it began. Alot of discussion was had over kegs, meals and parties.
I started there thinking I'd major in psychology. It was a subject that I was very interested in. But as I learned more about that I also learned about another subject that just grabbed me: criminology. I ended up getting a double-major and graduating mid-year in Dec. '82.
There are lots of memories from school. The early ones involved cruising on Friday and Saturday nights in my dad's truck and later in my Mustang.
