Since 1973, I moved to Miami, Florida in 1978. I loved the area. It took me a few years but I fell in love with the Miami Hurricanes. I became a regular fixture at their football and baseball games. The Miami area is famous for their beaches. I spent many a day on Key Biscayne. I actually had the pleasure of living there for a few years. It was home to former president Richard M. Nixon. I jumped around a little while in Miami. I lived on the Key as I mentioned, also Coconut Grove, Kendall, Perrine, and South Miami. I moved out of Dade County in 1991 to Palm Beach County. It was about 75 miles north. A much slower pace than Miami. There is where I met my wife, Lisa. She was a pricing manager for a Winn Dixie supermarket. Her store was one of my accounts. We originally lived in Greenacres, then purchased our first home in Lake Worth in 1996. We stayed there until 2005 when we both agreed it was time for a geography change. Without hardly any thought, we found a wonderful little town nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Canton, Georgia. To this day, I still find it hard to believe that I live here. But it's really nice and we've met so many nice people who we've become friends with. Our community has a wonderful pool that is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. We spend all of our weekends there with our friends. When I'm home, I'm usually sitting in front of the tube watching a sporting event or a good movie....Expand for more
