Kevin's Story
Life
May 29, 2006
I'm currently working at Menards in Forest Lake while job hunting. Hopefully I will find something better soon. Lots of student loans to pay- lol. I'm currently living in North Branch, helping my parents around the house for the time being.
I will be attending the wedding of a friend of mine from grad school in Thailand; next November. She's concidered royalty, although I am still uncertain as to what that means. All I know is that a lot fo the trip (excluding airfare) is going to be "taken care of." So I'm super excited!! Plus a lot of friends from grad school are from S.E. Asia so I might take an extended trip and visit a few other coutries as well.
I graduated St. Mary's University in Winona with a Master's in International Business. I spent the summer of 2005 in Eastern Europe for a Int'l Business Field Study. I was in Munich, Vienna, Budapest and Kiev. It was an incredible trip and I was able to see and experience tons fo great thin...Expand for more
gs including the UN building in Vienna and OPEC. I was in Kiev only months after their "Orange Revolution" which turned their country (finally) into a true democracy. Ukraine is by far on my top list of places someone should visit. For the most part, though, I was touring and loved every minute of it!
I graduated from St. John's University in 2004 after spending 6 months living in Galway, Ireland. I was studying Gaelic and Irish history. I think I spent most of my time studying the inside of a pint of Guiness though- lol! I've also had the opportunity to travel throughout England and Italy, in which I was lucky enough to have a private audience (200 people only in a reception hall at the Vatican) with the Pope. I've been playing rugby since college and still play today. I little older and bruise a little more but I still love the sport and the comradery.
Anyways, that's what I've been up to. I hope everyone is doing well and wil keep in touch more often!
Cheers!
