Kevin's Story
Life
I am employed in higher education as the Dean of the College of Education and Human Services at California University of PA. I hold a bachelor's degree in mathematics, a master's degree in Learning Disabilities, and a doctoral degree in Special Education. Most recently I have been involved in software development for children with disabilities through federally funded grants. My current projects involve creating an online reading support system for poor comprehending readers, authoring the Rutledge project at Cal U a multi-million dollar plan, and expansion of our Professional Development School (PDS) program with six public school districts in South Western Pennsylvania.

e/Ice shows on tour. My second son is a potter, and the youngest is a geologist.
I live near Morgantown WV, on a 30 acre horse farm in the summer and on our smaller farm in Ocala FL in the winter. My wife is a professional equestrian and teaches riding, trains horses, and shows horses throughout the northeast and Florida. Most of my spare time is spent flying my airplane (a Cessna 182). I no longer visit Rockaway as my mother now lives near my brother in Nashville TN, and I now fly around Morgantown to keep my license current. My other spare time activities involve mowing about 5 acres around the house and barns and playing golf.
I believe that some of the teachers at MHRHS were good and some were very poor. Through the years I have visited hundreds of schools and find this to be true in all educational settings.
