Kevin's Story
Left Gaffney in 1987 and haven't been back because my family all lives in Greenville and Spartanburg. Married and divorced like most of he world, but no kids to maintain the entanglements. PhD in Gerontology from the University of Kentucky in 2002. Taught at the University of Georgia until 2004 when the U.S. Department of State offered me a position as a Special Agent. I thought "What the hell...I don't know a thing about law enforcement or protection." Jumped right into the deep end figuring I could always go back to a university if I didn't like the work.

first assigned to our field office in Chicago and would move back there in a minute. Then onto our headquarters office in DC for a year and now...moving to Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina in August 2008 for a 2 year assignment with the U.S. Department of State. Ready to leave the DC Metro area.
