Kevin's Story
well... attended marshall for 2 years and drank myself out of school. worked at nickel plant untill i got laid off. worked for nationwise auto parts, western steer steak house, and for last many many years for my wife's family in construction and property maint. graduated from kentucky tech in about '94 with three certificates in chemical and refinery operation and have been laid off twice from ashland oil(see a reoccuring theme here?). been married for a long long long long time and have three beautiful daughters, two even prettier grand daughters and two awesome grandsons and another grand kid on the way due in february. life is busy but i find time to hunt and fish in the fall winter and spring, mess around in the yard during the summer, seems i never have time to fish too much in the sumer with out kids so i seem to do all my fishing in winter during trout season. lost my best buddy, shadow, last summer (he was my 'son' i never had). at least for now my two grandsons and youngest granddaughter live with me and i love it, not much free time but they bring so much into my life, don't know what i...Expand for more
would do without them here. this summer i hope to begin their training, hehe. we live on the banks of the mighty mud river where i like to spend time, fishing stinks but shadow and i liked to watch the critters, drink a cold one or twelve, and solve the worlds problems. gawd i'm gonna really miss him. well, i'm also a tool nut and like to play with wood, so i am constantly tinkering with stuff, my garage is full but you can get through it if you wiggle just right at the right times (gonna change that this summer too). i'm not much of a visitor to the people who live around me but i have some really understanding neighbors and i get along with them pretty well, i like to keep to myself most of the time but if i see ya walking in front of the house i usually am the first to say howdy, and some people say howdy back! well, howdy. am newly laid off and now about to become a school bus driver for cabell co. schools and taking hvac classes at vo tect, my instructor has bumped our program from 5th in the state to 2nd, only morgantown (with wvu affliation) is ahead of us. looking good in the future.
