Cynthia's Story
Hello! Thanks for stopping by...Here is a quick update on my life so far...after graduation I attended Harper College where I obtained my degree in Nursing. After college(1986) I moved to Arizona(Phoenix) and lived there for 5 years. Missed the family and moved back to Chicago where I worked at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. My specialty is Labor and Delivery. High Risk Maternal Care and Maternal Transport Team. It is such a miracle to see a baby being born...and I feel very privaleged to be a part of such an intimate time in a couples lives. I worked at LGH until the fall of 2003 at which time I loaded up my car and moved back to Arizona. My initial plans for work did not pan out and I found myself working at a small community hospital in Prescott Valley. edona. The weather is awesome with alittle touch of all seasons...but have not had to shovel snow in 4 1/2 years!!!! :) I am still in the OB department and love my job. I am currently single and enjoy being an aunt to my two nephews( live in IL) and niece and one more (?) on the way( live here in Prescott valley)...My folks have retired out here and my brother and his family have moved here also...so nice to have family close by. I have enjoyed the flexibility of my job (I only work 3- 12 hour shifts per week) to travel. My latest adventure was flying to London and seeing the sites for a few days before boarding the Queen Mary 2 oceanliner to sail transatlantic for 6 days back to New York...just AWESOME!!! I do get back to Illinois and Schaumburg at least 2-3 times a year. Looking forward to our 30th Reunion...my God has it been that long!
