My Pets
We have four parrots. Murphy is the oldest; I've had him for 22 years. He's an African Grey. His friend Devon is 7 years old and she's and African Grey too. They both speak very well; Murphey has a vocabulary of about 200 words. We also have a harlequ...Expand for more
in macaw, Kotter, and a blue and gold macaw, Devon. They are 9 and 8 years old, respectively. All four birds live in a tiled, floor drained "condo", which is an addition to our den. It has windows into the den and also into the backyard.
My Job
I teach 9th grade English at a small, suburban high school in a mostly blue collar community. I love it!
