Kim's Story

Currently living in Idaho. I've been married for 20+ years to Timothy. We have three fantastic kids--all boys. Zach is a cement pump operator in Utah. Samuel is a Freshman in college and is majoring in criminal justice. My baby, Ethan, is a junior in high school. I've spent time in the Air Force, time at home with the boys, and am currently teaching English at the secondary level. I earned a B.S. Degree from Utah State University. My major is English education; My minor is business education. I prefer to teach English! A few years ago I returned to college and completed a Master's Degree in Education. My degree allows me to teach remedial reading to struggling students. I believe I have the greatest job in the world. It is never boring. I've had the opportunity to teach all three of my boys. a great experience. Last year I went on the Senior trip with Sam's class to Southern California. Next year I will attend with Ethan's class. My husband is a broker for a local trucking company. In our spare time, we raise beef cattle. We currently have about 100 total. Tim loves to ride horses. We have five of them. One is a yearling--she is really fun. Tim rides the horses in a cutting club that he rides with on the weekends. I had a bad accident a few years ago and haven't been on a horse since. I guess I'll have to start riding again when all the boys are gone and I'll have to actually help move and work the cows. I feel fortunate and blessed. I live in a beautiful rural area and have a great family. I also have a job that I love. What more could I ask for? Oh I know. I'd like to win the lotto!
