Kim's Story
Life
I graduated from Garey High School a year early and got married that summer. The marriage lasted 23 years and ended in 2001. I have 3 sons, ages 25, 20, and 18. After high school, I worked in a grocery store for awhile and took classes at the community college intermittently. I was also a stay-at-home mom for a few years. In 1990, I got serious about college and went steadily for 7 years, obtaining my master's degree in Speech Pathology....Expand for more
I have been employed as a public school speech therapist for the past 11 years.
My oldest son is now married and lives in Washington. My middle son is in college at Seattle Pacific University in Seattle, and my youngest son is a freshman at UC Berkeley.
I live in a fairly small, rural town in Northern California. I keep pretty busy with activities, and I am enjoying traveling. My school job allows me nice vacation time in the summer!
