Kim's Story
Life
My life recently took a very unhappy turn. On December 30th, 2009, my husband of over 30 years was taken away from me after suffering a massive heart attack. It's been devastating.... you wonder how God could do this to you... why you're suddenly alone... it's unbelievable all the emotions that consume your body, mind, soul, and heart.
I have 4 beautiful daughters -- Melissa, 30 -- Megan, 27, Madison, 24 & Morgan, 20, and 3 beautiful grandaughters.
I own a premier wedding and reception facility in San Bernardino where I do all the coordinating, doing approx. 30-40 weddings/receptions each year during the spring and summer months.
I still live locally - 10 years in San Bernardino, followed by 10 years in Redlands, then back to San Bernardino since 1999. ...Expand for more
I enjoy SCRAPBOOKING, music, crafts, and spending time with my family.
I lost my mom on December 15th, 2007 on her 78th Birthday. She had lived with us for the last 19 months so I was by her side as she went. I miss her terribly and thank God that I had her so close to me for the last months of her life.
I've kept in touch with only one person from my teen years, Lisa Metheny. Her parents were like adoptive parents to me my senior year. Live's get busy but I never forget about them and we see each other at Chistmas each year if nothing else.
I'd love to hear from others. It's amazing how much time has gone by. You can't wait to get out of school and get on with life, then when it happens... well you miss it and all the memories start slowly fading.
