Kim's Story
Life
I am currently living in Harrison, MI. I am an working for the County Sheriff's Department as an Administrative Assistant for the Sheriff. In January 2006, I will have been at this job for 20 years. I am currently married and have a 21 year old son by the name of Daryl. Even at age 21, going on 22, he is my pride and joy. I still have family that lives in Hazel Park and Madison Heights. I visit Hazel Park a few times a year and every trip I drive through the old neighborhood and go by the High School to see what changes have taken place.
Workplace

partment at Wayne State University. After a year at Wayne State, moved north. Worked as a bookkeeper for a local CPA office for approximately 7 years. Also during that time worked as an office manager for the local Chamber of Commerce, and as an EMT Specialist for the local Ambulance Service. In 1986, began work at the County Sheriff Department as a office clerk. After a co-worker was injured, transferred to Central Dispatch Department as a 911 dispatcher. In 1997, was transferred to Administrative Assistant position and still hold this position today. In January 2006, will have worked for this organization for 20 years.
