Kim's Story
Life
I moved to Calgary in 1987 to work, then in 1989 I went to U of C and earned a Biology degree in 1993. I also have an agricultural diploma from Olds College. I worked at U of C for 6 years and I taught at Olds College for 5 years.
My husband Eric and three sons Connor (9yrs), Seth (6yrs) and Joel (4yrs) live in Virden MB. Eric works in "the oil patch"- who knew that Virden is "The oil capital of Manitoba...Expand for more
"? Never thought this is where we'd end up; I always was anxious for a transfer to Portugal!
It is nice to be back on the prairies and closer to Regina, but I miss Alberta a lot. Of course, still a Rider fan (much to my in-laws' chagrin, with them being from Winnipeg!).
I am always surprised when I go back to Regina - changing & staying the same! I keep looking for familiar faces, but I don't see too many.
