Life
Where to begin.....let's just say that life has never been dull. My husband (Eric), 3 girls (3, 14, 18) and I live in PA. We love it here - to be driving the kids to school overlooking the countryside is just wonderful. We love taking road trips (especially to beaches from Seaside, NJ all the way down to Key Largo, FL). We've stopped in many places even just to visit lighthouses. I find them fascinating. Unfortunately, I got Lyme disease from all the hiking/camping, I assume. I was sick for over 3 yrs before we found out what it really was. So, now I live with it. I'm on and off meds - it's a vicious cycle.
My husband served in the military for 22 years and worked there full-time as a civilian, mainly on the C130's & then Quality Assurance. Because of a rare heart condition, he has bee...Expand for more
n on disability since Jan 07 & had to medically retired this year. Back in 06 the surgeon thought the surgery was too risky. Because of too many symptoms/episodes, on June 16th, Eric had open heart surgery. He is now recovering. It's been a long recovery, but hopefully worth it in the end.
I am very active in our local chapter of the Moms Club and currently, I handle our Newsletter and loving it. I have met many new friends and encourage any Moms of small children to check out their local momsclub.org
I had a blast getting together our reunion last October, even though there were some bumps in the road. Thanks to all of you who attended and helped make it a success!
Update 11/08 - Meghan, my 23 yr old step-daughter is living with us again. We are thrilled, since we haven't seen her in years!
