Kim's Story
First and foremost, I am a mother to Megan & Kristen, ages 30 & almost 29, respectively. I also have a 13 month old granddaughter, Hendrix. We're expecting another granddaughter in Jan 2019 and twin grandsons in Feb 2019. Time is moving too fast...somedays, I feel like I just recovered from childbirth. Amazing how time flies! Anywho, Megan, Kristen and Hendrix have fulfilled my life beyond belief. I thank God many times daily for blessing me with such great children. They breezed through their young life effortlessly...never gave me much to worry about. They are responsible young ladies who are assets to our community. I couldn't be prouder! Hendrix is the light of my life! Bruce, my manfriend, and I have a lot of fun together. Bruce is cooky, off-the-wall and has a different view about everything. His uniqueness and loving heart truly captured my attention the first second I met him. I know by looking in his eyes that he loves me unconditionally and will do anything for me. He's a keeper! In addition to being a mother and girlfriend, I'm a daughter to Jan, a sister to Juan, an aunt to Melissa, niece, cousin and friend to many others.
Anyone that knows me, ...Expand for more
will tell you that I'm extremely anal retentive or even OCD. All I can say is they are right and I make no apologies. These qualities have guided me through life and the "pleaser" in me hopes that it has impacted those that I care about.
I'm definitely a girly-girl. I love to dress-up and to call me an accessory queen would be an understatement. I'm a Southern girl by birth and believe the words "please" and "thank-you" still belong in our vocabulary. Politeness and manners rate high in my book.
My family, my manfriend, my friends, my career in the real estate industry, a keep me extremely busy. In my spare time, I like to write. I started a book approximately 17 years ago when my divorce was finalized. Truthfully, I'd like to publish my book at some point...I had a unique childhood, lived in a glass house with my high school sweetheart and getting divorced introduced me to a whole new world of people. And I've met some interesting characters. I do believe that all the bumps in the road through my life have made me the woman I am today. And I thank God everyday for my family and friends and the goodness he's brought into my life. And I wouldn't change a thing.
