Kim's Story

Life Woah...Life today is a 180 from HS ~ much more fun! Upon graduating HS I continued to work for what is now LexisNexis. After being there 9 years and continually get passed up for better opportunities due to the lack-o-"sheepskin", I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. Upon graduation, a great opportunity fell into my lap ~ back to LN I went. Travelled the country as an expert on a couple of specialty products the company developed. Upon doing what LN does best, re-structuring, I left the company to sell for the BBB. Ick, left after 14 months. Sold uniform/mat services for Aramark ~ awesome company ~ local field office personnel s*ck*d, resigned. Sub-taught, vascillating between teaching/Corporate America. Decided teaching, completing my maste...Expand for more
rs in the next few weeks and interviewing for first year teaching job. ~ Now that I've decided, HAVE to have a 4th or 5th grade classroom in the fall ~ can't stand the thought of not teaching, love it! Practiced being married, twice. ~ Yeah, divorced 2x, THAT'S a fun "title." Oh well...Learned from both (and didn't bring kids into either), there's a silver lining... Own a home in Bellbrook, love it. Live with my 2 4-legged "kids", Bo and Maggie (dogs). (Maggie = a rescue, great friend!) Looking forward to re-connecting with old (haha, literally ~ we're "old people" now!) HS friends, acquaintances, unknowns to me. Now that we're all "over" being insecure, cliquish HS kids, it'll be nice to connect with each other to learn more about our life's experiences!
