Kim's Story
Hello from Chesapeake Virginia! I estabilized residency in the Tidewater area back in 1981.
I worked for a non profit agency which allowed me to utilize my gifts in the Dept. of Mental Health and Mental Retardation. It was in this arena that I helped to write and facilitate pilot programs for those individuals needing to remain in main stream communities. After 19 years of service, and no regrets, I passed on the baton. I met my husband Curtis, married, and began a family. Although the marriage did not work out, together we have two beautiful children. Our daughter Shaye is 12. Our Son C.J. is 11. Yes, I did the math, and will be 60 when our Son graduate...Expand for more
s from High School. (Just a thought). C.J.'s goal is to one day play professional football for the Washington Redskins. (I say why not the Giants?) At 5ft. 5'5" tall and 180 lbs. he is certainly on his way. Shaye is a typical 7th grader who enjoys talking to her friends online, playing basketball, and sleeping in. Both are honor roll students. In my spare time, I enjoy a good cup of coffee, going to Sandbridge, hanging out at Barnes & Noble, and watching Shaye, and C.J. play sports. As for my family, my Dad still lives in Newton. Karen, Milford PA, my younger brother Doug Port Jervis NY and Robin Virginia Beach.
