Kim's Story

Life Fled Vacaville for San Diego State and returned to work at KUIC for a short time. Currently in Hawaii, I lived in Miami, Boston and Detroit as a Flight Attendant. For years I traveled aimlessly, doing things I would never let my children do. (Don't ask.)Then, in my early thirties I met and married a gorgeous blond with big blue eyes who was a professional surfer in Hawaii. I had been the managing editor for Northwest Magazine and a freelance travel writer while a Flight Attendant, and parlayed the two into a television career. At 30 I decided to go back to what I originally aspired to be, a journalist. (I was having way too much fun before 30 being wreckless and a little out of control.) So I became a producer for Good Morning Hawaii, then another station offered me a job doing the weather. You can look me up ...Expand for more
and watch the weather on the net at khnl.com, I go by Kim Sheree on air. I have a weekly consumer column locally and work on air for NBC doing parenting tips and weather. I have two little kids who tought me how much love means to a parent, 4 cats who used to be my kids, fish, and my younger brother Jason who came out on vacation and never left. Mom still lives in Vacaville and I love going out to English Hills to visit her. It's very hard having two young children and being so far from any family. Now we basically travel to see our relatives, and occaisionally to the outer islands. I can't get over how long ago High School was. The other day I looked in the mirror and my Mom was staring back at me. I didn't turn around, I didn't want to see her butt attatched to my body. Getting older just sucks rocks, doesn't it?
