Kim's Story

Shortly after high school, I married David Avalon. We were married for almost 5 years. It did not work out, and we divorced in 2003. Life was definitely challenging and different. I received my Associates in Health Information Management, and started working at University Hospital as a Medical Record Coder. And was bringing much healing. In 2006, I moved to the Dallas area, and became engaged to my current husband- Michael Harston. We married in 2007. I now have 4 children ( 8 yr old girl, 5 yr old girl, 2 yr old boy, and 2 week old girl). They are all wonderful blessings!! I still reside in the Dallas area....working as a Coder, homeschooling my kids, and taking care of my family.
