Kim's Story

Hello my fellow Trojans and Trojanettes! I live in Chattanooga, Tn now that I have retired from the Military after 21 years. I have one daughter name Kimberly who is 25 years old, with a grand daughter name Kameron which she is 12 mons. I am Divorce and happy with me. Now I teach JROTC in Tn at Brainerd High school. I am in my seventh year teaching and enjoy it. I have written 2 Poetry Books called: A BLACK MAN's INNER THOUGHT-Emotional felling of life & A Black man's Inner Thoughts 2: Reality Check/Real talk. This book expresses things that most men want to say, but are afraid of because of our upbringing as aman. But I did it and I am proud of myself. I have tried to live my life right. Now I'm trying to get the rest of my life in a happy stage. If I won $100 million, I'd give 25% of it to MY MOM, then spend the rest on MY DAUGHTER, SIBLINGS, INVESTMENTS, MYSELF and SOME TO MY COMMUNITY. My past is my past, my present comes from my past, and my future is for the future and thanks because of my past. YOU HEARD ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I...Expand for more
always wanted to be a Soldier when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a Good idea. As it turns out, they were right. To blow off steam I punch the bag. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have Me, Myself, and I to be able to deal with the day-to-day. My hero was my grand father because he taught me respect. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Carl Kelley, because He's a great friend. My current age is 50. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be dead. I was so completely wrong. My best friend would tell you I'm Cool, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as Mean. In 10 years, I hope to be Retired. I'm going to get there by Working hard. My childhood memory was when the neighborhood dog Smokey punked me out of my chick. I walked about 10 blocks to Churches Chicken and came back home sat on the porch and Smokey barked, my chicken felt and I ran inside and Smokey looked at me crying and ate my chicken. I was like 7 years old and i will never forget that.
