Kim's Story
Life
The photo I posted was taken just before my 55th birthday. I've been in California for 32 years and probably will retire in the Pacific Northwest in 5 more.
I work for the County of Sacramento as a Database Analyst and have been working in computers since I moved to California in 1975. I attended school in many places taking classes I needed to graduate as well as classes I was interested in at the time. I changed majors only twice from Electrical Engineering to Life sciences (so I could go to vet school in Davis Ca.). Those plans never made it from dream to reality (no money, etc).
My first marriage was a disaster but my second is wonderful and I've been with my wife for 25 years now. We have no children but my identical twin brother (Tim) made up for that.
I think about many of my friends from school all the time but have only had regular contact with Mike Sommerfeld and recently with Dan McQuiston. ...Expand for more
Also have regular contact with Cynde Foster of Battle Creek (she attended Marshall HS - I met her at KCC).
I went back to BC when my father died in 1992 and tried to make contact with Vince Miller, but I did meet his brothers and they were very friendly and showed me recent pictures of him golfing with friends (still young looking and as handsome as ever).
Anyone remember Tom Pope? He was my childhood friend and I lost contact with him completely. Then out of the blue I heard he was the head of the BC Police. I tried to see him when I was in BC but couldn't get through the many protective layers.
I did see Mike Finney and met his wife and kids, as well as some other old friends. But I'd still like to hear from more of you as the chance of me getting back to BC again is low.
God Bless you all and I hope you are happy and thriving.
Has anyone had contact with Gwen Berry? Sure would like to hear from her.
