Kim's Story
I was born a poor black child..........hahaha (not really)
Since High School I married in 1980 to Lowell Nelson and had 2 kids, Lacey and Joel. They are 25 and 23 now. Lacey is in her last year of law school and Joel is a auto mechanic like his Dad. My marriage lasted 19 years but we divorced in 1999. Lowell passed away in February 2000. I remarried in 2001 to Scott Sanders and we have been on a adventure ever since!! For many years I was a Alaska and Horizon Airlines Supervisor and Scott and I did alot of traveling, we then moved to Seattle WA which was my hub. We had a blast! We stayed in Seattle for 4 years and then I transferred to the Sacramento Airport. I wanted to be closer to the kids. Lacey and Joel were renting our home in Fresno CA.

tting on the North shore of Oahu eating Hawaiian Shave Ice and decided that we both were working to hard and that we needed to slow down and smell the roses so to speak. Soooooo when we got back from Hawaii we bought a concession trailer and redesigned it and turned it into a tiki hut, and it is a Hawaiian shave ice and Gourmet Coffee Bar trailer. We both quit our jobs and I got us booked into 40 fairs a year! We travel now with our bamboo tiki hut trailer and 34 ft. motorhome! We are having an awesome time and making alot more money than our old jobs. Can life get much wierder??
We are going to Maui this December for Lacey's wedding on Makena Beach. We are excited for that. We don't have any grandbabies yet. But the best is yet to come.
