BOY... I wish there was a camera that took 15 years off of your face... 15 pounds off of your body and 15 inches off of your waist!!! I really don't like photos of me, but this is what I have to share ... After high school, I started work at the local newspaper, The Sun-Tribune. Next came marriage in 1981 to Bret Watkins, from Oakland. I tried my own business of teaching exercise, doing day care and working in a print shop. The opportunity arose to buy one of the local video stores and we jumped on it. We bought the store in 1993 and called it Wally World Video. (Yep, kinda based on the National Lampoon's movie Vacation) - But the original owner was named Wally too. Bret and I had a daughter Danyal in 1986. We raised her and ran the business and kept busy the whole time. I have been VERY busy with my video store business and have just expanded. Danyal just moved out on her own about a year ago.
