Kim's Story
After leaving school, I went to La James college of Hairstyling, worked at my mom's beauty shop at the Hanford , Pam Broome and I were sharing a apartment together during those days! ( fun times )
Then I joined the Navy , went to boot camp in Orlando Florida, then to a school in Meridian Mississippi, then got stationed in Exmouth Western Austrlia.
I was the Barber on Base and also ran the beauty shop one day a week.
I met and married my husband Greg while stationed there,We will be celebrating our 38th anniversary this next May. He was also in the navy and was a cook and baker on the base.
Greg is from West Monroe Louisiana.
We lived in Chula Vista,Ca and West Monroe, Louisiana for a while but decided we liked it better back here in Iowa. ( I kn...Expand for more

We have two children
Kylie and Zach
No Grandchildren
Greg worked at Tonka Coolers until it closed down and then has been selling cars every since. He is currently working for Pritchard Ford Store, In Garmer, Iowa.
I stayed at home and raised the kids until about 1992 then started doing hair again, worked at The Hollywood beauty shop, Great Clips and Adrian's all in Mason City.
I have been working at The Principal Financial Group going on 25 years.
For the last few years have been working as a Softwear Engineer.
Hopefully can retire one of these days!
Well, in a nutshell that is pretty much what I have been up to for the last 30 years !!!
No Grandkids yet, Just a Bassett Hound named Scooby, a Cat named Rocky and some goldfish.
