Kim's Story
Life
I am married to my high school sweetheart Gary Lauderdale, (Hazelwood East Class of 1980). We stay busy between Gary and I working, keeping up with our 3 children and whatever else comes our way.
Aaron Elizabeth is the oldest, she is very athletic and has been playing basketball and fast-pitch softball all through her school years. Aaron signed a D1 scholarship her junior year of high school to University of Toledo where she played for two seasons, she then finished her last two years of basketball playing at Lee University in Cleveland, TN. Lee Lady Flames were conference champs two years in a row and Aaron was named MVP of their conference tournament her senior year. She graduated from Lee University (Class of 2008). Now Aaron is back in Bowling Green, KY (our home), working on her Master's Degree in Special Education. She has been working at Greenwood High in the Special Ed department and is the assistant coach for the Lady Gator Basketball and Softball teams. Aaron has a wonderful guy as her boyfriend and Nick is just part of our family.
Duell is now in college and has been attending St. Charles Community College. He has a very sweet girlfriend and he just keeps on marching to his own beat.

TALK ABOUT YOUR OLDEST FRIEND AND HOW YOU MET:
My oldest friend is Mark Clark . We met when we were 5 years old when our parents both bought homes in Whitney Chase subdivision right off of Old Halls Ferry Rd in Blackjack, (St. Louis). We started kindergarten together at Jury Elementary, then Grannemann Elementary, onto Kirby Jr. High and then Hazelwood East. Our dads both worked for GM in the Corvette Division and when the GM plant in St. Louis closed, our dads both moved us all to Bowling Green, KY where GM had built the new Corvette plant. Mark moved 6 months before me in our junior year of high school, I moved that summer. We spent our senior year of high school together and we both graduated from Warren Central High School in 1981! Go Dragons! After high school Mark and I continued our friendship through all these years, marriages, births of our children and everything else in between. I may not see him all the time but I know he is there for me as I am for him. We have tons of great and happy memories beginning in our childhood, teenage years and even our adulthood years. I cannot think of anyone else I would have rather had all those years as my oldest friend other than Mark!
