Kimber's Story
A lot can transpire in twenty years and life has been eventful since graduating high school in 1988. The University of Michigan claimed my next four years, resulting in a BA degree in Economics. I went to work full time upon graduation and shortly after started on my MBA degree at the University of Michigan-Dearborn in the evenings, completing it in 1998.
My career has included corporate sales in the office furniture industry and temporary staffing industry, project management as an independent contractor, and a stint as Purchasing Director for a residential builder all within the state of Michigan. and worked for four years in the architecture industry. I moved back to Michigan in 2006, but continue to work for Bailey Edward Design, Inc. in Chicago as their Director of Operations, overseeing all business administration, finance, I/T and HR functions of the firm.
I'm so fortunate to be able to work remotely from my home so that I can spend as much time as possible with the true joy of my life, my son, Connor, who turns two at the end of February. The only 'title' of any importance to me at this stage in life, is Mom. I put my heart into the 'job' every day to remain worthy of the title and find that being a parent is as rewarding as it is humbling.
