Kimberley's Story
Looking back at High School to me was not a super life altering experience. I was the shy one who made good grades and didn't hang with the "popular" crowd. My how times have changed. I have more friends now than I ever did before. I guess that comes with age and getting out in the work force. I left high school and did not go to college. I really wasn't interested at that time. I wanted to get married and start a family. I married at 22 and had my first child at 23. ll). I currently have an amazing management position with Northside Hospital and finally am going after that college degree. I believe it is never to late to go after your dreams. Life is busy with working, being a mom of 3 and a wife while persuing a college degree but I am always up for a challenge.
I knew I was getting old though when my son was 13 and played for the Kell Junior Longhorn football team and was being coached by Mike Travis, Jimmy Lanier and Greg Michalek. It is cool guys, you still look the same as you did in high school..just maybe a little less hair and a little more gray.
