Life Hi 1975 grads and old buddies, I am now living in Birmingham Alabama and loving it. I am an art teacher and work at a kindergarten- 2nd grade elementary school. After DHS, I attended Ga Southern College and studied Sociology/Psych. I did not study art, and this continued to be a hobby. On return to Atlanta after college, I attended the Portfolio Center and focused on graphic design. I worked in an ad agency (Cole, Henderson, Drake) but found that this still was not what I wanted to be doing. An avid journal keeper since Ms. MacIntyre's class, I made my own journals to write my thoughts down. I learned of a bookbinding/letterpress printing program at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa so off I went to get my masters. From there, I realized I would rather teach how to make books than make a nice full leather book for someone who could afford such luxuries.
