Kimberly's Story
Life
I've been married for 17 yrs (as of 2007) to a guy I met at a party at CMU. Let's Go, Fire Up Chips! He was Freshman & I was a Senior! I have 2 girls (18 yrs & 13 yrs as of 2007). The oldest has been dating the same boy for 2 1/2 yrs & is "serious" about him. She's thinking she wants to go to CMU when she graduates this upcoming year (2008). The youngest is a tempermental wise-cracker who loves to bowl & bug me about getting a puppy... no more pets!
School
I enjoyed going to school because it got me out of the house and away from my "mom". Band,English and Newspaper were probably my most favorite subjects. I enjoyed seeing my friends ...Expand for more
everyday, and I miss the fact that I don't keep in touch w/them much anymore. I also regret screwing up a couple of those friendships as an adult.
College
I loved CMU! It was the first time I was out on my own and out from underneath the step-mom's thumb! No, seriously, it was a great learning experience and I would not change a thing. I learned from every one of those one thousand mistakes I made!
Workplace
I love where I work and can't imagine being anywhere else! The people are great and I learn so much all the time; especially the fact that attorneys are a different species - I think arrogancy and chauvinism is requirement for law school.
