Kimberly's Story
Life
Shortly after graduating I moved to Sidney, Ohio and worked in the hospital there and was Supervisor of Information Systems for several years until I decided to move to California after my divorce. I moved to California in 1993 with my 3 children and remarried one year later to my current husband. I worked at a bank in Commercial Lending until my youngest son (then 5) was diagnosed with a terminal illness and since then I have started my own Housecleaning Business, which grew in leaps and bounds quickly, and this gave me more flexibility to take my son the 70 miles each way to the hospital when necessary. He has since stablized, although still very sick. My daughter has a husband, a son and a baby daughter and lives in New Mexico. ungest will be a sophmore and the youngest is an excellent student.I have a wonderful husband who works in the family business (auto shop) and has been there for 30 years. I have a stepdaughter who lives nearby and works at a car dealership and a stepson who just graduated from college and is now entering the Air Force and will be a nuclear weapons tech.. I love California and the weather and the fact that I finally got everything right and quit screwing up. I don't keep in touch with any of my old friends and haven't since high school. I am really glad that so far none of my kids have made the same stupid mistakes as me. Oh, and guess what else, after all the teasing about being so skinny always, I am now having to watch my weight some, I guess I would rather be teased. That's what age does to you.
