Kimberly's Story
I met Rich Whitham in 1979. We moved to Sarasota, Florida (following my parents) in 1981 and married in June of 1982.Lindsay was born in 1984 and twin boys, Johnnie and Richie in 1989. In August of 1989, on our way to the 10 year reunion, Rich, Johnnie and Richie were killed in a car accident. Lindsay and I survived the accident and my faith in Christ got me through that tragic time (and still does!). I married Dale Derix, a long time friend of Rich's and mine, and we had Kelli and adopted...Expand for more
Keaton. We still reside in Sarasota Florida. Dale is a software developer and I am an office manager and also work at the hospital part time as a nursing assistant. Both of our girls just got married...Lindsay (who is a 4th grade teacher) to Bryan Donovan (a police officer)in April of this year and Kelli (in college studying Dental Hygiene) to Mario Garruto (an LPN and in college studying to be an RN and then on to Nurse Anesthetist sp?) in November of last year. Keaton is in 8th grade.
