Kimberly's Story
Life
After I graduated from Middle, I went to Boston University. I graduated in 1987 with a Degree in International Relations/Economics..(????), but not after rooming with Bonnie Keen who was at Northeastern and Bernie Cremin who was working in Boston. What fun!!! I ended up working for BU after graduation as a Coordinator of Programs in the Student Activites Office. I advised student organizations on planning their activites. Some of these included Homecoming, Senior Week, the Academic Groups programs, and yes, the Fraternity and Sorority programs.
After 2 school years of working in Boston, I decided to move back home. I lasted 3 (winters) years here before moving to Philadelphia. I lived in Philly for six months during the Winter and back home for six months in the Summer for the course of about 7 years. It kept life interesting.
I started working in Real Estate in 1989, got my Broker's License in 1992 and became the Broker/Owner in 1999, and all with Clermont Nine Real Esate. Clermont Nine has has a few locations, but we are now and have been located at 1920 Route 9 in Clermont for the last 6 years. I also own with my two sisters Clermont Commercial Storage located...Expand for more
in the rear of Clermont 9 Real Estate.
I met my husband Eric in Philly and we have been married for 7 years and have a 5 year old son named Connor. Eric works in Philadelphia for a private equity fund and I work in Clermont in Dennis Twp. So nothing has change too much in my life in that I am still between Philly and Avalon. I love the beach and I love the city so it may sound crazy, but I wouldn't have it anyother way......
Connor just started his first year at Avalon Elementary. WOW! If anyone had told me I would be sending a child to Avalon School as I had went I would have thought you were crazy. All I ever wanted to do was to get out of town after High School but I can honestly say I do have sand in my shoes and love living by the ocean.
I am involved with many organization in the area, the Dennis Twp Chamber, WON, (Women Only Network), Cape May County Board of Realtors, and earned a Certificate in Interior Design from Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia in 2005.
I am proud to say I have kept in touch with many of our classmates, but I cannot believe it has been 25 years. How can it be since I really don't feel that old...... k
