Kimberly's Story
Life
After I finished high school, I went to OU. Yes, I know, I really ventured far! And after 4 years, I finished my bachelors degree in Elementary Education. After that I taught for 5 years in Norman schools and at All Saints Catholic School. By far the best job I have ever had was the one that came after my "retirement" from teaching: Mommy. I stayed home to raise my daughter and started an in-hom...Expand for more
e daycare. I figured, "Hey! I had 25 kids in one room for 8 hours a day for 5 years. How hard could it be to keep 3-4 kids in my house all day??" Let me tell you, HARD. So, I did that for 2 years and when my second child came along, we moved to a smaller house and I "retired" a second time. Now, I'm staying at home doing the hardest and most rewarding job I can imagine. I have a daughter and a son.
