More about Tim:"Since College spent about a ten year period working for American Express Corporate Travel, which provided me with the ability to take 45 vacations in a ten year period. The majority of these were spent in the western United States. Most of my favorite destinations are in California, Utah, Arizona and Colorado, where I spent much time camping, hiking and backpacking in the National Parks. I also traveled to Hawaii, including Maui and Kauai, which only cost me $25 airfare. I was caught in a flash flood in The Narrows of the Virgin River in Zion National Park, and also in deep quicksand by Lake Powell, where I and a friend spent two days boating. An...Expand for more
other favorite trip was to Algonquin Provincial Preserve in Ontario.
In 2002 I married for the first time to the love of my life, Jenn. In 2003 we moved to Savannah, NY (a very small village roughly between Rochester and Syracuse - (2 bars, a gas station and a bank...) and in 2005 we adopted our son Dominick, who has brought us much joy. The winters here are very long, and in the first winter here we accumulated over 15 feet of snow!
I love all the seasons here, but I still haven't decided which I like best. Spring is amazing, since we have cold weather up to six months, and seeing the rebirth of it all is startling. Summer seems to last the shortest, so we try to pack it in with all sorts of activities, including trips to the beach (Lake Ontario) to many of the agri festivals held in the area (we have a potato festival!) We also love to go to the Renaissance Festival, which is done quite well, and includes armored jousting, a wench auction and much more. I also visit the Montezuma Wildlife Refuge that is very close to home. Many herons, cormorants, osprey and bald eagles are in this area, and annually approximately 2 million birds migrate through the area. We also love to travel and visit my family in Michigan.".
