Kit's Story

At EBHS, I participated in band and orchestra (French Horn), vocalist with the Indigos, chorus, art club and ski club and used to skip class to hang out in the band room with Mr. DeCarolis. While at EBHS, I performed at Carnegie Hall with the Rutgers Choir. I won the Best in Art Award for my graduating year. The following year I studied art and communications at Rutgers and worked as an art model at Princeton U. I left the East Coast hitch-hiking all the way to San Francisco and have lived in California or Oregon since. I continued my art education at California College of the Arts and Sonoma State University for a Theater Arts Degree. ansit bus driving. I bought a farm in southern Oregon with family members and raised timber and wine grapes for 10 years. My daughter, Juniper, was born 32 years ago and has been my pride and joy. After living in Ashland, OR for 6 years, I returned to the Bay Area in 1996 for a good paying marketing job that eventually sent me to live during the year 2000 in Paris where I met my Congolese husband. We've been living in Oakland with his 10-yr-old son and I have been managing a Structural Engineering office. Looks like divorce is imminent. Over the years, my interests have been dance (modern now African), yoga, singing, studying health issues, music, crafts, spinning wool, gardening, knitting, reading, traveling, and languages.
