THrow-back-Thursday. Millky Way taken over Owl Rock in Arches National Park in May, 2018. Single shot processed in Camera Raw. Foreground lit up by passing car. Best viewed full size.

Milky Way with 14,000 ft Longs Peak (Rocky Mountain National Park) in the background at 1 AM on May 11. This was a shot that I didn't think was recoverable because the Milky Way was so washed out in the pink of the Aurora.

The Milky Way in the Aurora Borealis about 3 am Saturday morning. This was a once-in-a-lifetime shot for me. I didn't realize how much ambient light the Aurora would create. Taken from the parking lot at Sheeps Lake, Rocky
