Life
My life has been a whirlwind of activity since high school. I attended college in San Diego and trained as a medical assistant. Many of you might remember the mid-air collision that happened in San Diego; well, I was just blocks away from that and felt the impact at the college. nd met a lot of great people; but there is no place like home.
Since then, I have earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Management, and am now working towards a Master's Degree in Acquisition Management. I've spent a majority of my carreer at Camp Pendleton in a variety of contracting offices. I currently work for Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest working as a Contract Specialist awarding and administering a variety of construction contracts. I absolutely love my job.
I am a member of the Valley Winds Community Band, still playing clarinet. My fingers don't move as well, but it is a great time and my release from a hard day's work.
I love travelling to Mazatlan, Mexico, taking cruises anywhere, and I look forward to retirement.....either by winning the lottery, my son striking it rich in his endeavors, or somewhere between ages 55 - 62!
