Life
Well the big 30 is coming up! I haven't seen anyone from Eisenhower since I left. I was kinda of loner and didn't belong to any of the clicks. After high school I moved to the beach (Laguna and then Santa Barbara) I guess I became a hippie. I opened my first Antique store in Santa Barbara in 1972. I then ended up in the Ojai Valley for 15 years and had 2 different Antique stores there. I still own a home there But for the last 10 years I have lived and owned a Restaurant, Saloon, Soda Fountain and Antique Store in the Black Hills of S.D. I actually live a mile behind Mt, Rushmore. I am gay and have been with my partner since 1973. We have a doberman pincher, Capt. Jack. We hope to start spending Winters back in So. Cal.

Well it's been about ten years since my original post. Has anyone noticed as we get older the years seem to speed up like a Merry -Go- Round out of control?

ears in the restaurant and saloon business, my partner and I sold our Bussiness, in 2003. We went on to help a friend build a 16000 sq ft commercial building in Keystone South Dakota. Just 2 miles from Mt Rushmore. We opened a large Antique store in 6000 sq ft of it.
We work our ass's off from May thru September, during our tourist season, and try to survive the rest of the year. In the winter I sell a lot on e-bay.
Our doberman Capt Jack died three years ago and we now have two English Bulldogs. Sweety Pie and Sluggo. They come to the store with us everyday and are part of our advertising promotion.
We still have our home in California and hope to become snowbirds and spend winters there. My partner and I celebrated 36 years together in April. We are still hopeing to see some equality in taxes, health and death benifits in our life time.
