Cheryl's Story

Life I am 47 now! I'm a longshoreman in the Long Beach/Los Angeles harbor. I have 5 kids, ages 30 to 20, and 5 grandchildren! I was married at 21 for 17 years, then widowed. I remarried in 2004. I bought my childhood home in 1997, and raised all my children in Long Beach. They all graduated from Wilson! My best frien...Expand for more
d, and twin sister, Carol Whyel Poynor (Knowlden) passed away in March 2008. Not a day goes by without me wanting to call her/see her/laugh with her. She was a wonderful mother of 3 kids, and grandmother to 4. I would love to hear from friends from high school and catch up, especially those that have stories about Carol.
