Tamara's Story
Life
I have three children and two persian cats.
My first marriage began my last year of college (1992), lasted for seven years and resulted in twin sons born in 1995.
My second marriage has been very happy; I married my prince charming and am living happily ever after. We have a daughter that was born in 2002 and she is the joy of my life! We still want one more!
My degree is in Science and I had planned to go to medical school; one of the twins has CP and I ended up in the hospital a lot but not for medical school. I became a lab tech and did medical research at U of M; later I stayed home with him.
We lived in San Diego, CA in the late 90's. The best time of my life! But eventually came back to Michigan! I also lived in Winston-Salem, NC (when I first got married to my second husband).
I went back to school and got a teaching certification for secondary science. Recently I felt that I spend more time helping my students through their problems then being a teacher. I recently went back to school to be a counselor and I plan to work with adolescents.

e traveled quite a bit, I lived in the Middle East (where I was an English teacher) and have been to several middle eastern countries. Mexico. I traveled to several countries in Europe and we also took a Caribbean cruise. We love to visit the coral reefs! This year we went to the Red Sea. I am an avid photographer, did I mention I have two more children Nikon 6006 and my latest addition Nikon D80!!! I do lots of travel photography and currently take photo classes at the Smithsonian in DC. We also have plans to visit India, Greece and Australia - someday.
We moved to Washington DC, (Springfield, VA) for my husbands job in 06. I went back to graduate school in Jan 08 and I spend the rest of my time raising my three wonderful kids.
So far haven't been to one reunion, every time there was a reunion I wasn't in Michigan, the 15 year came when I lived in CA. I was teaching overseas for the 10 year and never heard about a 5 year. Maybe the 20!
School
I remember HS being fun. But college was way better! I miss my friends from HS we grew apart! I am still best friends with my college roommate!
