Kris's Story
After graduation in June '94 I lived in and around Walla Walla,WA for the next four years working and having fun with friends. In July '98 I hooked up with a traveling sales company with a couple friends and stayed with that for 3 years traveling to 43 states altogether. I made alot of money, met alot of people all across the country, partied alot and eventually met the girl that I would end up marrying (Naomi) from North Carolina, which is where I'm still living now. We got together in Feb '01 and I moved to North Carolina the in June '01 to be with her. In Oct '03 we got married and had a son together (Taylor). We had some good times together but also had quite a few bad times together so during '06 it became clear to me that she wasn't going to change for the better and I filed seperation papers in June '07. We spent almost 6 years together so needless to say it was tough getting over the whole situation (her) and the wait to see who would get our son, which was most definitely my biggest concern at the time. s a free man! On a bad note, I had a DNA test taken in May '11 and the results came back that I wasn't the father...which was 1 of the worst days of my life even though I suspected it all along.
On a lighter note I'm a little older and a little more responsible (finally), but I'm still the same old me. Sports, music, cars, work and friends/family take up most of my time/interest. I had the opportunity in June '08 to move back to Washington, but decided to stay in NC. It would have definitely been cool to see old friends and catch up on old times, but being so far away from him would have been hard. In Feb '08 I met my wife (Brittany) and we married in May '10. In Dec '10 we had a son (Benjamin) and that was by far the best day in my life so far! He's so awesome and considering everything I'd been through in the previous marriage, I couldn't ask for anything better. All in all, I'm a little more chilled out than I used to be, but I still love to have a good time with good friends and maybe I'll be back home again in WA in the future, only time will tell.
